Quippy D15822

Quippy is a very fun boy. He's very curious and loves his humans. He loves to play and enjoys his walks outside. We are working on his listening skills and he is catching on very quickly. He will need slow intros with other dogs as he can be a little excitable and overzealous with new dogs. From his foster: Quippy is a GREAT dog! He loves playing at the dog park, snuggling(even my cat!), house trained, crate(I confine in my kitchen) trained, and only talks when he sees a squirrel or rabbit. We are working on his recall, he doesn't 'run away' but can't help himself when he sees a varmint that needs to be chased. He will need a sturdy fence, I don't feel an invisible one would keep him from a taunting squirrel. Older children suggested, he likes to gently grab hands and ankles when he is excited or showing affection. Another detail we are gently working on. I feel a younger child may get frightened or get him in trouble. If you're looking for a loving companion please give him a chance to show how much he has to give!
