My Story

Quiggley is perhaps the biggest heart-throb Bully Buddies has ever met. A cute little package, with big personality, he breaks down breed stereotypes and fears, where-ever he goes- charming the pants off of everyone! We wanted just the right home for him. One where he would be the centre of attention and also get out in the public eye as he adored the lime light. His foster mom was so smitten with him that he almost didn't leave, but just when she decided that perhaps no one would be good enough for her Quiggley, Helen and Andy came along. They saw everything in him that his foster mom saw, and could provide an even better life for him. One where he would be the one and only animal in the house, and where he would be rarely left-alone since they work staggered shifts, and he could go to work with his new Dad.

Already signed up for obedience classes, we all have high hopes for him getting his Canine Good Citizen, and trying a hand at agility. A sure in for public events, and best of all his enamored foster mom gets to be his official babysitter!

From his new family: "Once in a while we say to someone that Quiggley is a rescued dog and they always say that he is so lucky but in reality we are the lucky ones, Quiggley is the most magic dog ever and we love him like crazy. Everywhere he goes he makes people feel happy and he is making us very happy everyday as well. Sometimes we will just sit on the couch in awe and watch him chew his bone. I believe he has a great future ahead."

As his new mom Helen stated, "Everyone loves Quiggley, and Quiggley loves everyone."

Quiggley has been in my care for a month now, and boy do I ADORE this wiggley little gremlin. I have fostered many dogs, and rarely struggle with letting them go, but Quiggley has managed to completely sweep me off my feet. He is 30 pounds of pure talent and literally is the sweetest man ever invented.

Quiggley breaks down breed barriers; everyone loves him. He literally is irressistible. He deserves a home that will take his natural charm and use it to become a great ambassadog, changing minds whereever he goes. Therefore whomever adopts him must be invested in getting him out there and showing him off. His gentle, affectionate ways lead him to being a natural therapy dog prospect.

He is such a ham, and a complete joy to have around. Even when he does something naughty he manages to make it look cute! How can you get mad at his grinning face when he jumps up to see what is on the counter, or you find him walking across the tops of furniture in order to get close to you!

Quiggley thrives on attention. He is a lap dog in a rock hard body. Go to lie down in bed and he will dive his way under the covers, and snuggle up next to you like a hot-water bottle.

Quiggley is currently living with my two older female dogs. They lke to boss him around, and when he is lucky will play with them. Quiggley really enjoys romping about with his dog friends. That said this breed is not one that fits well into "dog parks" where multiple dogs run off-leash; Quiggley is no exception to this rule. Quiggley is not a dog park for even if he does not start a dog fight, given his breed he will be blamed for the fight. Anyways at this point Quiggley does not have a trustworthy recall as he thinks it is his duty to greet anything and everything wiggles and kisses.

Quigley is currently struggling with settling down when left alone. He is not a barker when left alone, but does squeel ike a pig! In fact I have only heard Quiggley bark once, but due to the pig-like sounds he is not a candidate for apartment living. He does best left loose in the house with a bone to keep him busy.

Overall Quiggley is an AMAZING dog, and just about as cute as they come. He would love to find a home where someone is home more often than not, or where he can come to work with his folks (he is the PERFECT office dog). And most of all you must adore him for exactly who he is!

30 pounds of pure heart throb is what this little one is made out of! How sweet is he? Bigger than a bread box, but smaller than a bulldog, he's not a purse dog, but you sure can tote him about. We love Quiggley. How could you not? Dog and cat social, and offering kisses for any human that heads his way. What more do we need to say?
