Queenie is in urgent need of a specific type of home. Her family is moving from the farm into town and they do not have a large fenced yard at their new home. Queenie is a seven-year-old Great Pyrenees. She is not bonded to livestock, so she should not go to a farm with small livestock like sheep and goats, but she has been around cattle and her owners feel she would behave just fine with cattle or horses. She needs at least a half-mile (or one quarter section) of territory to protect that is not too close to other neighbors. This is normal for Livestock Guardian Dogs. Queenie will learn to accept cats, and over time would accept another dog, but not right away. Queenie's favorite thing to protect is children! If you have enough space, all Queenie needs is a family! She is spayed and her family just wants to find her a good home.
