My Story

Meet Queen Maeve, a sweet hound-shepherd mix whose resilience and grace mirror her namesake from "The Boys." Found as a stray, Queen Maeve initially took some time to adjust to her new surroundings, taking about a week to reveal her glowing personality. Once comfortable, she transforms into a playful, loving companion who adores stuffed toys and frequently gets the zoomies around the yard. Queen Maeve has a charming way of nudging your hand or arm forcefully when she wants attention and pets, and she absolutely loves belly rubs. While she can be picky with her food, she has a particular fondness for Weruva's Paw Lickin' Chicken, making mealtime a joy for her. Queen Maeve's love for adventure shines during long sniff walks, where she uses her keen hound and shepherd nose to explore the world around her. Her ideal home would be one with older children who can read her body language and give her space when needed. This gentle giant thrives in an environment where her independence is respected, yet her affectionate side is cherished. As Queen Maeve may seem reserved at first, but with patience and love, her true, sweet nature shines through, making her a superhero in her own right.
