Quarters *ADOPTED*

Hi! I am Quarters and I am new to rescue. I was living in a kennel, with not much exercise and very little thinking. I was losing weight pretty fast. I was still as sweet as ever of course, but it was obvious my physical health was dwindling. Day after day, humans came for the other cute puppies in the shelter, but no one looked at me. My heart was broken when my first owner dumped me when I was only 4 months old, and now it was breaking again. But sometimes things break, and then you get the chance to fix them up a little better. That's what is happening to me now. This already full rescue saw that I was a lovely and sweet dog, that I was sad but I still had a lot of wagging left. They actually cared! I thought they would leave me like everyone else, but they didn't!!! My days were numbered, but not anymore. I showed my foster mom how happy I was to have her in my life, by having my first set of zoomies in a long time. I think she really enjoyed them because she laughed and laughed and hugged me and kissed me. I am so happy. So here is where I try to tell you all of the great things about me. I have taken an obedience course (just a basic one) and I did very well. I am pretty clean in the house. So far I like my crate enough to go in and chomp down on my yummy treats. I am pretty quiet (not much of a barker). I am very friendly and gentle with strangers and kids. I am good with polite dogs, and just need a little adjustment to learn about dogs that are obnoxious. I am 11 months old, and really would love my forever home. I know it's kind of obvious but I am not a pit bull, and I am also not substantially similar either.
