Puppy Mill Moms--U

Please note the difference in these 2 sisters after One Month of good care!
Bonnie and Becky are now healthy happy Boxer girls.

Countless numbers of nameless Pure Bred Dogs are living their entire lives as Puppy Mill Breeders:

So, you are (or you have a friend who is) thinking about buying a puppy from a local Flea Market ( a pure bred puppy for a cheap price) or even at Pet Store in the Mall where you "top" dollar for your pure bred puppy?
Think Again!!!
If you buy a puppy from either of the above places, you are supporting the "Puppy Mill" where the puppy was bred.
This is the condition of the "average" condition of a "Puppy Mill" Mom!!
They are starved and lack even the most basic emotional and medical care.
Many have Heartworms that will eventually cause respiratory and circulatory failure and death. That is if they don't first die from starvation or complications of over breeding!
These dogs are thought of only as "Inventory" to be used as Breeding Stock to produce the money makers...."The Puppies"!

Bonnie and Beckie are sisters who were rescued from a "Puppy Mill" situation. They are around 18 months old and they have each already had several litters of puppies!
After several days of eating good food 4-6 times a day, Bonnie and Becky are starting to gain a little weight. I have never seen a dog any thinner than these 2 "Puppy Mill" Moms!

When offered the freedom to come out of their new enclosure with a warm house to sleep in, they were afraid at first to come out into the large fenced in yard.
Once they did come out Bonnie and Becky would explore a little and then go back into the enclosure for a bit of comfort before venturing out again.

Bonnie and Becky are having to learn what it is to be petted, and though strange, they think they might like it! They are learning to trust the people caring for them.
The wonderful Boxer personality is in each of them and it is expected that both Bonnie and Becky will become delightful family companions.

Bonnie and Becky are getting the good food, affection and medical attention that they desperately need.
These sisters will be up for adoption once they have gained weight, are spayed, Heartworm treated, if needed, and learned to trust people.
