PUPPY LOUIE

Meet Louie a 10 week old Brussels Griffon who is looking for a very kind and loving home. He is a tall boy and he weighs 7 lbs and will most probably be a 15-20 pound adult. A little on the large side for the breed. We took him from a breeder who is shutting down her breeding and realized that this darling boy had been given little human time and attention. He is now loving his new foster momma who is kind and gentle and has taught him how to play with toys and what a snuggly lap and person feels like in his life. He is very affectionate although still a bit timid due to the lack of socialization prior to coming to Critter Cavalry Rescue. He is getting plenty of love now! He plays wit the foster’s Pekingese pup Charley. And he rolls and romps with Charley as well as learning about Betty the cat who is teaching him how to respect a feline in the house. Betty the cat loves puppies and knows how to train them well. :) When he was given a bath the groomer said he did great. Louis was very good and did not fuss or try to get out of the tub. That is a good indication of his personality, as regular grooming will be a part of his life. He is a good puppy. He likes to snuggle (rode in my lap home from work yesterday) and gives lots of ear kisses! He is using puppy pads for his potty and so far he has done excellent. Yard training will come when our snow melts away.
