This is a purebred AKC registered Bernese Mt Dog puppy. We rescued this sweet little boy from a puppy mill / pet store situation at 17 weeks old, the last week in June. He had sores on all 4 feet and his elbow from being forced to live on wire, in a cage, 24 hrs a day. These are healing now that he is finally getting good care. ~~~ Hopefully the pet store will not "place an order" for any more Bernese puppies from that horrible midwestern puppy mill, since this puppy didn't sell and make them money, which is all pet stores care about. ~~~ This little fellow is a real sweetie! He will be a treasure for a lucky person. He loves other dogs and people........ is outgoing, friendly, well socialized and very affectionate. His facial coloring/markings may not be classic, but he sure has all the typical Bernese personality traits -- he even wants to sit on your feet! His foster family (in Cincinnati) is working on housetraining, walking on a leash, etc. ~~ PLEASE NOTE: We always require a securely fenced yard for all dog adoptions (especially young dogs of large active breeds.) And never those shock collar "invisible fencing systems."
