Pup Pup and Stormy were rescued by the Tulsa SPCA Cruelty Officer when a call came of abandoned pets in a small, filthy, unsheltered pen. Food had been thrown over the fence of the ungated area by concerned neighbors but, after a week and no owner, the plight of the thin, undernourished dogs was reported. These special pets are devoted to each other and must be adopted as a pair. Stormy is still puppyish, curious and playful, and friendly to others. Pup Pup shows strong signs of mistreatment by males in his past life and is cautious before deciding to make friends. The couple is fascinating in their love and interactions with one another --- Pup, the careful protector, and Stormy, the kissing and reassuring mate. They can be seen and heard at times, heads together, howling in harmony.
