UPDATE - Pumpkin has been adopted! Pumpkin is an older gal who was pulled from a high kill facility when her owners surrendered her. Why?? Maybe because she is older, maybe because she is blind, maybe because she can't hear so well - we don't know. What we do know is that Pumpkin is a sweetheart and when she is being held or taken out for a walk (she is housebroken) all she does is wag her tail. Her tail stops long enough for her to pee and then it starts up again! She is just so happy to be held and to get attention. Yes, there are precautions to take with a blind animal, but the love little Pumpkin has to give knows no limit. If you feel you can offer Pumpkin a loving, forever home so she has a safe place for the rest of her life come by to meet her. She is just waiting for someone like you to pick her up and take her home wagging her tail the whole way.
PLEASE NOTE – We require all interested parties to come to the shelter to meet the pet, complete an adoption application, and interview with our Director.
