My Story: Puddles is a sweetie! We're glad no one looked for this great boy since he sure doesn't seem to have lived the best life. He is a great dog personality wise, which is what counts, but is going to need a family simpathetic to his older age & aging medical problems. Puddles is estimated to be about 8 yrs old, so he still LOVES to go out for walks, but is for the most part a very quiet, laid back boy. He is neutered, however his eyes are in bad shape & are very itchy for him. The problem should have been treated long ago, so will require meds for a while. His ears have obviously not been cared for, nor have his teeth since the poor guy is in great need of a dental. It was very sad to see such a sweet guy at his age wandering around who doesn't have all his hearing, horrible teeth, and eyes that itch him like crazy! He was even loaded with mats & ticks! But as for his good points, we cannot stress enough what a sweetheart he is! Cuddles is just adorable when he lays & sticks his little cocker butt up in the air :) He is what we call a "wiggle butt" too! He's a happy boy who deserves a great life, not a home that will keep him outside only to be neglected more. He seems great with other pets and all people he meets, but because he's older we don't want him to go to a home with small kids who will tease & be rough with him. Puddles leashwalks great, and is a cutie! He looks basically like a curly cocker spaniel, and w/ the poodle, may not shed a whole lot, if at all. He is crate trained, and is probably housebroken too! Please realize this breed of dog requires trips to the groomer several times a year, so be sure you can afford him! If you're looking for a sweet, mellow, middle aged boy who love & pamper, please consider this wonderful boy!
