My Story

Puck will be at the Pet Expo.

Puck is a 3 year old, 12.9lbs Mini Schnauzer- Terrier mix. He is what we would call a wire-haired Terrier. He's not really one specific Terrier but really, the whole host of all of them! Puck gets along wonderfully with other dogs. He loves to run and play. He finds his confidence with them. He tentatively approaches his humans until he really trusts them and then he bounds up to them. He initially will be reserved and shy. When he was taken out of the cage at the shelter, he screamed. He was so terrified. The only other time we heard him scream was coming out of the cage at the groomers for his day of beauty. He did fine with the groomer but boy, oh boy, was he scared initially.

Puck's new family will want to build his confidence and show him love and affection. They will need to be ready to give him time to acclimate. He will not be an overnight, 'happy-go-lucky' fella. He will be cautious, quiet, timid initially. With a few days of love and affetion, giving him space, not introducing him to the world (in other words, no parties, not lots of visitors) then he will begin to shine.
Puck has a lot of love to offer. He deserves a home that will allow him to blossom.
