My Story

Printz is a handsome three year old red Doberman with natural ears and tail. He has a funky looking nose that he most likely was born with.

Printz gets along fabulously with other dogs. In his foster home he currently lives with three other dogs and there are no issues whatsoever. He really likes to play with other dogs, so we recommend a home with a canine playmate for him. Printz could also live with cats (there are three cats in his foster home, so he knows what these little creatures are), but he believes that if they run, he can chase them. Nothing bad, it's all in good fun with him. Laid back cats that know how to deal with dogs would be just fine.

Printz is initially shy with people and it took him a while to trust and feel comfortable in his foster home. We imagine that in a new home he will need some time to adjust again. Above all Printz needs a patient family. Because loud noises and sudden movements can startle him, a home with young children would not be ideal. Another dog in the home is an absolute pro. Not only to play with, but also because Printz has learned to trust and interact by example of the other dogs in his foster home. Printz is very playful without being hyperactive and he would benefit from long walks and an owner to teach him fetch or other games. Printz is crate trained and house broken.
