Meet Princeton Linus - a 4 year old, 130 pound, Newfoundland/Great Pyrenees mix boy.
You will be charmed not only by this boys stunning good looks - but he has a personality to match!
Princeton is a gentle giant. He loves to give a good sniff to know where you been and loves to be pet and loved on. He will remind you to not stop until he is satisfied with his pyr paw but it's always gentle and looking for love. Though he's independent, he's always down for a good snuggle in the bed first thing in the morning without fail. He's fluffy like a cloud and he turns heads when he takes his walks down the street, as long as they aren't too long. He's a big boy after all.
He loves car rides and is always excited to go anywhere when you get his leash but he may need a little boost up to get in. He really is a great boy and very low maintenance, other than the brushing. He always gets along with the other dogs he meets but if they are not his speed, he may just watch them run around him with a playful eye.
He is great with kids - though he isn't sure what to make of babies. He is fully housebroken and was bell trained so his new family will appreciate that he lets you know he has to go out by ringing the bell. He also knows sit and down. He is very well mannered.
He would be a welcome addition to any family as he always is walking the perimeter of the yard to protect it and his humans. Once he's done, you may catch rolling on his back :)

PLEASE READ: If a dog is listed, then s/he is currently available for adoption. Their information is correct to the best of our abilities and the information we have been given as of the day of posting. Please note, GDRNE does not guarantee the breed of any dog or puppy unless stated that we have run DNA. All breeds listed are educated estimates. Our dogs are rescued from various situations. The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application. Great Dog is not a shelter so there is no building you can visit. Our dogs live in private foster homes until adopted.
