“PRINCESS MARLII”… a 9.999 on a scale of 1 to 10! BREED: Tibetan Spaniel mix AGE: Approximately 3 years GENDER: Spayed female HEALTH INFO.: Current on all shots “INDOOR MANNERS”: She is well house-trained as long as she is not left indoors alone for more than a few hours at a time. She has not chewed on anything that does not belong to her, but she loves her toys! GOOD WITH: other dogs and cats. She does not “pick fights” with other dogs, but she will not back down if another one her size starts a spat with her. She has not been around young children to my knowledge. IDEAL ENVIRONMENT/FAMILY: Preferably a retired person(s), a homemaker, or someone who works at home would be an ideal placement for her. She does love to play, but also loves being a lap dog most of the time. Every rescued pet has a story to tell. Please see back of page to read about that of Princess. KNOWN HISTORY: At approximately one year of age, Princess was found in a rural neighborhood where a disgruntled livestock farmer was shooting any and all dogs in his path. Princess was found very pregnant, along with another smaller dog that may have been her puppy from a previous litter. The two were taken into the foster system, the younger dog was adopted immediately and Princess gave birth to her pups shortly thereafter. All puppies were adopted out and Princess was then spayed and adopted, as well. The foster family told the adoptive family that if for any reason they should be unable to keep her, to please contact them, as they would always welcome back this sweet, beautiful little dog. Recently, the adoptive family contacted the former foster home and said they could no longer keep her; their schedules had changed, children had gone off to college, and their other dog was old and tired, so they didn’t feel it was fair to Princess to keep her. She prefers to be with her human companions as much as possible. Unfortunately, the foster family cannot keep her, as they already have 9 permanent pets and an equal number of fosters. Princess (who was called “Marlii” in her adoptive home, but known to the foster family as “Princess” throughout her initial care) is still the same beautiful, sweet, playful little creature as always. She will make a wonderful companion. AVERAGE WEIGHT OF THIS BREED IS 9-15 POUNDS THE ABOVE PIC IS NOT OF THIS SPECIFIC DOG - JUST OF THE BREED! CHECK BACK SON FOR PICS OF HER....
