Prince aka Quincy - Resident Angel - RIP

**Update** (2/5/12) Sweet Quincy suffered a stroke this morning and went to the Rainbow Bridge earlier this evening. He was so loved by his parents and was part of a wonderful family. He had gotten "his new wheels" a few weeks ago, and he was enjoying his new found freedom to get around again. We don't know what the first 12+ years of Quincy's life were like, but we know that he knew what it felt like to be greatly loved for the last 2 years of his life. RIP.....sweet boy, Quincy.... (4/25/11) Prince aka Quincy has found his forever home! His foster parents parents just adore him...and he is so happy with them and his canine brothers and sisters. Quincy will live out his life knowing love and affection! What a wonderful turn of events for this sweet boy! Have a great life, Quincy! (11/16) We just discovered that Prince tested heartworm positive, so he will be staying in rescue while we try a very non-invasive treatment since he is a senior. Hopefully Prince can overcome this and be ready to join a loving family in a few months. Please say a prayer for our sweet Prince. (10/12/09) Poor Prince was found as a stray. When his family was located, they did not come to the pound to pick him up. Prince appears to be 12-14 years old and is so gentle and sweet. He just needs a place to curl up and have a comfy bed to call his own. Prince will be a wonderful pet for any family who opens up their heart to him.
