Meet Prince.... We received an urgent call today while out of town from Oaklawn Race Track. They found this boy in their parking lot suffering from the heat He is very underweight. His pads are burned. Someone noticed him earlier in the day over a mile away.... he traveled far. He had given up when he collapsed in the parking lot. Luckily, an Oaklawn employee spotted him and they got him cooled off. We rushed to pick him up and has him settled in our home currently. He will go to the vet to get a full work up and checked out. https://linktr.ee/hopefurpaws UPDATE on PRINCE He and his foster sister are the best of friends!!!! He loves other dogs!!! He went to the vet yesterday to get his vaccines and he we found out he is THANKFULLY heartworm negative!!! He has a goofy tail right now. He has what's called Happy Tail. He has wagged his tail so much and hitting it on walls and other furniture that he has made the tip of his tail raw and bleed. A few meds and a bandage and he will be good as new. He got a proheart 6 shot and his vaccines. Neuter is scheduled for the 15th. He is doing so great!!! All thanks to his amazing foster family!! ?? A little patience is all that is needed some times.
