Prancer

Prancer is the most resilient dog we've ever had the pleasure of meeting! She was left on the streets to fend for herself; the only food she had was whatever she could dig out of trash bags and dumpsters. She was hanging on to whatever energy she had left; we like to believe that she knew we were there to save her so she hung out hope for us! She has blossomed into an amazing dog, everyone loves her! She is living in her own little suite in our garage area that is fit for dogs who cannot be in the kennels. When we had Prancer in the kennels surrounded by other dogs, she was so stressed out and was exhibiting anxious behaviors. She would tear apart her blankets in a second and was constantly barking. Since moving her up to her own private room, she has come full circle! No more blanket parties and a lot less barking! She LOVES to play with the hose (as you can tell) and loves her pool! She is amazing on hikes or even if you wanted to stay in for the day she is perfectly content with chilling on the couch! Prancer would be suited best in a home where she is the only dog and needs an active family who can keep up with her! We would say she is good with older kids (14+) because of how strong she can be.
