Poppy is a beautiful red 3 year old Beagle mix. She was adopted as a brand new baby in 2021, and returned this year due to owners relocating. She knows nothing except the happy life inside a home, and is devastated to be in the shelter. She cries every day and stares at the entryway, where she saw her people for the last time. Poppy is incredibly smart, walks great on a leash, refuses to potty anywhere but in the yard, and plays well with everyone. She does well with other dogs and children. She is a bit skiddish of strangers but hopes you understand she is just scared. Poppy would make a wonderful family pet once she gets her sense of security back. Maybe you can make that happen for her :)
