Most of our dogs are at the shelter but some are in foster homes. Before being adopted all dogs will spend 2 weeks in quarantine, receive 2 sets of vaccines, be dewormed twice, if over 6 months of age they will be tested for heart worms, and they will be spayed or neutered. The local adoption fee is $100. The out of state adoption fee is $125 which does not include transportation fees.
8/30/08 One morning we were outside the Humane Society and noticed a sweet little face peeking through the fence. Portia is absolutely the cutest little dog in the world. She has such a sweet face. Someone had just dumped her off in the driveway of the Humane Society. She is very lovable and would be a great family dog. She is approximately 3 months old. Can you really resist that face?
