Portia

Meet Portia! Portia is truly the sweetest soul you'll ever meet! She may be a little shy at first but once you start giving her pets and attention, she will be your shadow and best companion. Portia starts her mornings off getting out of her crate where she sleeps perfectly at night next to her foster mom's bedside, eats her favorite breakfast of a wet and dry dog food mix, and then frolics around the backyard to go potty! She then follows her foster family around as they get ready for their day. Portia's tail never stops wagging and is always ready for love and affection. Once everyone is settled, Portia hangs around her foster mom while she works from home and sleeps in the crate or at her feet. Portia enjoys taking a walking break during the day or evening and has great leash manners. Portia finishes her day eating dinner and playing with her foster brother, chewing on her toys, and ultimately ending up in the laps of her foster family until bedtime. Portia will be happy sleeping in a crate at night or in her family's bed, she just doesn't want to be alone in a room by herself at bedtime. Portia is 5 years old, dog and kid friendly (unsure about cats), potty trained, and crate trained. She knows several commands such as sit, down, stay, come, and go to your bed. She is learning to ring a bell on the back door when it's time to go potty. Portia would like having a dog sibling to follow around. She is a poodle mix and will require regular grooming.
