Hi !
Pork Chop is the name, but you can call me Mr. Cool. I’m about 2 years old and a devilishly handsome 90 pounds. I’m friendly and gentle in nearly all situations but you do have to slow down my play with a vice of mine: Tennis Balls ( Click here if you have a Broadband Connection to see Pork Chop's Tennis Ball Fixation). Because of my ball fetish I would be best with families with older children if they have children. 3 months ago my former owner moved away and abandoned me and two other dogs at a rent house in the country. What a relief when the landlord discovered us and called the animal control officer, because we had no food, water, or shelter. In spite of this, I’m loving and good-natured. I’m in great health now and am ready for a good home and some tender loving care. I get along with the other foster dogs and love playing, running and goofing off in the yard. I’m a smart guy who always manages to appropriate the best doggie bed in the house and is the first in line for the nightly 5 o’clock pig ear treat. So if you’re looking for a debonair, jaunty gentleman to share your life and don’t mind me hogging the limelight wherever we go, I’m your man. When you’re an Adonis, you just can’t help being the center of attention.
Update (May 05, 2007 from Pork Chops Forever Mom): Porker is awesome. He is enjoying the Spring weather. We will be walking again pretty soon - so he is happy.
Actually, I believe he is just a happy dog. And comical. He does goofy things and then he looks at you as if,"yes, that is just what I wanted to do." (like slide off the sofa in slow motion; backwards) He is very good at night. He sleeps on the floor by the bed, but doesn't move much. Usually I get up before he does.
We have been busy with home improvements, so he has met quite a few handymen. He does fine. I had concrete poured for a new driveway - I think he wanted to leave a paw print!
Hope you are doing well and ejoying the wonderful weather, too.
