My Story

PopTart is the sweetest snack of all! This adorable chunky sweetheart has the perfect mix of puppy pounce, puppy snuggles and puppy silly shenanigans. Poptart, along with his siblings Pax, Pancake and Padgett, were rescued from a southern shelter. This boy has such a great temperament so far, not jumpy or mouthy. He is as handsome as he is sweet with the softest brindle coat with just the perfect amount of fluff and white chest and socks. Poptart has already learned sit in a week and is the most patient of all the foster puppies here waiting his turn. He also wins the quietest when crated award and most progress with potty training. He loves to pounce and wrestle with his foster pals or snuggle up to the household adult pups. He has good confidence, but always checks on where his person is and is one of the first to rest on your feet or under your chair. He LOVES to lay by the water misters and is never phased, regardless of how drenched he becomes. He also does great in a car. This precious pup stole the heart of his foster mom at hello.........he definitely will yours too! ATTENTION PUPPY ADOPTERS: You must attend training/behavior classes with your new dog unless you are experienced dog owners and your adoption coordinator is comfortable with your experience. This requirement is for the benefit of you and your puppy, so if you experience behavior issues, you have a point of contact. PLEASE--Think long and hard before adopting a puppy. Consider the lifestyle change this puppy will come with. He cannot be crated for more than 3-4 hours at a time until he's older. Puppy-proofing your home will be necessary. Puppies scratch and nip, so if you have small children, can they handle this? Training will be so important in this puppy's life. Do you have the time?
