Pops

Everybody loves a bluey! Pops is approximately 5-year-olds and heartworm positive. He has began his heartworm treatment program and the rescue will continue his treatment. This boy is in need of a foster or adopter. He is good with other dogs and most kitties. When Pops came to us he was so afraid of life that he spent the first 4 weeks hiding. First under the bed, then in the bedroom slowly moving out into the basement. We enrolled Pops in a 5 week Board & Train program that taught him that life is not as scary as it appears. He is doing so well. He has gained so much confidence. He has gone from refusing to walk on a leash or leave the home to playing outside with other dogs and walking in public places. Now Pops still has work to be done but the changes in him have been so significant. We are seeking an active family for him that also has a quiet home.
