POPPY is very happy to meet you! My name is now Poppy. I was at Animal Control (for quite sometime) but was rescued because my wagging tail became a medical issue. It constantly wagged...I was doing my best to compete for potential adopters! Eventually I split my tail because it kept hitting the kennel...sadly it rotted. I was deemed no longer adoptable...options had run out. When I realized I was going to be rescued, I was relieved and bounced out of Animal Control. I was not expecting my tail to be amputated, but it was necessary. I am healed and sport a very attractive "nubby" which still wags really well. I am about four years old, love balls and Frisbees, good at play, the best snuggler snuggle, kennel trained and I absolutely love to ride in the car (I am great at it). Oh yeah...I have extremely good housemanners. I go to Doggy Daycare at Golden Days every week day and have so much fun!!! I do really well with other dogs and am fairly cat friendly. I am seeking a lifetime home, but I have some requirements. Tossing a ball regularly is very important...I can even carry two balls or a ball and a Frisbee...I am amazing! A fenced yard would be awesome because we can play ball safely or I can just be safe hanging out...flopped out on the deck if one of my favorite things to do. I hope for a family of my own who will really love me and spend time with me. I have lots to share...You won't be disappointed...you could not find a happier or sweeter dog to love!!!
