Poppy

Poppy Aka Poppy girl, Pop Tart, Popsicle, Popita, and Pops. She was spayed at 6 months and has a chip. She is an energetic pup who has lots of love to give...on her terms. She likes being with you and always wants to be in your business! A good run in the yard chasing tennis and soccer balls is what she loves to do. Poppy loves collecting rocks and shells to gnaw on. Poppy gets along with all dogs and cats when they allow. She has been through a two week training at RidgesideK9 and she is learning to swim. Her fawn coat and black Cleopatra-rimmed eyes and mouth make her a model black mouth cur. Since she is still a puppy, she feels everything with her mouth first. Poppy is a bit anxious about loud noises(cars) and new environments. She would benefit living in a quieter home without small children but maybe another dog to be her friend. Positive reinforcement and a calm but firm voice is the key when she gets sassy! She walks well on a leash when with other dogs to give her confidence. Alone, she will only walk as far as she feels comfortable. Poppy goes into her crate at 8pm and waits for you to get up in the morning. Into the crate 10-2 and any time left alone.She is a smart and precious pup who is easy to love.
