Polly is a beautiful and sweet young gal who found herself in a high kill shelter, lost from her family. She needed someone to love and care for her so we pulled her from the shelter and brought her into our rescue group.
Polly is approximately 1 year old and we believe she has been used for hunting and has been bred at least once. Due to the fact that children were not part of Polly's life, an adult home is just what she requires.
Polly is a stunning gal, beautiful, long velvety ears, long straight nose, loving eyes and very svelte. Her short coat is getting a nice shine to it now that she is putting on a little much needed weight from eating good food.
Polly runs like the wind and really enjoys her walks. She is friendly and does enjoy playing with other dogs. She is a little under-socialized and sometimes shows confusion as to her place with other dogs.
Polly would really benefit from a calm, adult home where she can feel safe because her people are strong leaders. Once Polly knows you are in control, she is quiet, happy and will willingly patter after you.
