POLITA - Lab Mix / 2.5years / 23kg (overweight) / F-Spayed We think this may be the best summer of Polita's life! Despite being surrendered by her family, her new life is full of adventure and new friendships. She has shed some pounds and is thriving: in her past life she was under-socialized and neglected and those days are behind her! Her walks are the highlight of the day, and if you don't get to it fast enough, she is keen to help with the leash. Her foster parents say she is easy to be around. Sometimes when she meets new people, she can be fearful, but she is learning that overall people are cool. She loves deeply and can get quite attached to her humans, so we are reminding her to be the independent and confident girl that we know she can be! She is great with dogs and we have not been able to cat test her yet. Her future home will have people home most of the time. She thrives on routine and she really likes learning. One of her passions is to make her humans proud, so training has really enjoyable for both her and her foster family. She'd prefer kid-free living.
