My Story

Pete is a cheerful young adult Pinto dutch masked Anatolian companion who was pulled from a kill shelter in Dallas, Texas. Pete is about 1 year old and is extremely loyal and loving with his family. He has some of the natural guardian traits that come with Anatolians and though he has not been with livestock, he might do well with gaurding goats or other durable farm animals. Pete is extremely loving and sweet. He loves attention from his people family and would be best as an only dog. Pete will not tolerate strange dogs on his property and would make a good property patrol dog. He loves to get on top of large boulders, rocks and his dog house to patrol his area and make sure things are as they should be. Pete does enjoy coming in at night and has been very good with no destructive behaviors and no accidents. He sleeps on his large bed with no problems through the night. Pete's adoption fee is $125 and covers all of his vetcare to include - neuter, heartworm check, fecal, rabies, frontline, microchipping and adoption bath. If you would like to learn more about Pete you can send an email to [email protected] or email us for a private visit. Pete gets pretty excited about being at Petco so for now, he will not be at the weekend adoption showings. You can also complete an online application by clicking the links at the top or bottom of his official bio page located at www.dogsonly.org/Petepop.htm
