My Story

Adopted!

Pippo, spaniel/papillon mix, approximately 14 pounds, 10 years old

This is Pippo, a dapper little chap who found himself without a home after years of loyal devotion. Pippo does not understand why this has happened, but he is keeping it together, being cheerful and friendly, hoping that he will again be special to someone. Pippo would be the happiest dog in the world to sit on your lap while you watch TV, snooze while you are on the computer and trot around with you while you work in the garden -- in other words, he is a real companion. In case you are unnerved about the idea of taking on a senior dog, our vet has advised us that as a small dog in excellent health, it is likely that Pippo could live to the ripe old age of 16-18, plenty of time for you to savor his companionship and for him to give you all the love his magnificent little heart can give.
