Piper is an active girl who knows basic commands, is house and crate trained and is working on manners. She does better with routine and boundaries. She is hesitant and guarded when first meeting people, but once she calms down she quickly warms up to new people. She is very food motivated and will do anything for a treat! Piper needs socialization with people and dogs and requires an experienced handler. In shelter she has shown to be friendly with other dogs but had some resource guarding with food, very common with shelter dogs given their situation and usually very easily trained out.
