My Story

Pip is a 4 1/2 year old Pekingese. He has been in the same home since a puppy. He's a sweet little lap dog; very loyal. He likes having a lot of attention.

He is an indoor dog. He likes to run in the back yard. He would do fine in an apt if he has walks. He likes to go for walks.

Pip is a gentle little guy, even though he tends to be an alpha dog. He is used to living with a submissive shit-zu. He's been around bigger dogs with less tendency to be dominant dog. He would probably really do best if he was the only dog in the home, but may do well with bigger dogs as well.

Like many small dogs, he is better suited for older rather than young children. An older couple or couple/single that does not have kids or older kids would be ideal. He really is very loyal and would stick close to anyone, so someone who has a lot of love to give him is, of course, important. He loves to lay in your arms like a baby and have his belly rubbed. He likes to just stare at his loved one. He's really funny. Full of personality. He likes to play with his toys... even tosses them up in the air for himself. He makes little pig noises when he gets excited. He's quite entertaining and enjoyable.

He listens well. You can even shake your head no, and he will understand. He loves to lay on pillows for bed, but also has a little round cozy bed for his toys... he likes to crawl in there with them sometimes.

Pip is a charming little guy . Someone is going to love him a lot.
