Pinky

Pinky is an affectionate, goofy, playful girl with beautiful hazel-green eyes who came to PK from another shelter after being found as a stray. She is full of energy at about 1-2 years old and weighs 12 lbs. We think she is a Chihuahua and Dachshund mix. She loves playing with toys (but doesn't destroy them), running around the fenced yard, and getting attention from her people. She also has lots of fun chasing her tail, which will make you laugh! She is house trained and crate trained and does fine in a crate at night and when home alone, though she would probably also love to sleep in bed with you. She's a good work-from-home buddy and will lounge in a dog bed or entertain herself with toys or her tail while you work. She also rides well in the car. She takes time to warm up to new people, but once she knows she's safe with you, she's a lovebug and will reward you with affection. She has done well in a home with another dog, but we think she would also be fine as an only dog. She can be cat-tested upon request.
