Ping was found wandering in a not so great part of the city of St. Louis last summer. A woman picked him up and has had him until recently. She also had a three year old child. Little dogs, little kids - not usually a good match. So Ping came into rescue. He is a full breed hairless Chinese Crested dog. His body skin is dark, his face is mostly pink, his crest and furnishings are white. His build is thin. Ping weighs 11 pounds and is just over a year old by our estimate. He's active and playful. He can be bossy with the other dogs in his foster home at times then you turn around and he is snuggled up with 2 or 3 of them. We would love to see Ping go to a home that is experienced in the care of hairless dogs. His skin is in beautiful shape and we'd love it to stay that way. Ping prefers to go outside to potty but will use the wee wee pads.
The adoption fee for Ping is $200. Each of our dogs is up to date on all shots, including rabies, spayed or neutered, microchipped, fecal tested for internal parasites, treated if necessary, tested for heartworm, treated if necessary, on heartworm preventative and we also take care of dentals or any other medical needs they may have.
