Meet Piney! This truly handsome 2 year old 40lb gentle and loving guy is looking for his forever place to call home. He is an angel of a dog, really good natured and we can't believe he was found as a stray. He was at the shelter for 6 months before he was tagged for rescue? He is SO good and SO happy to be in a loving environment. Super well-trained and excellent with other dogs and cats. He is fully vetted and was treated for Heartworm before arrival. His foster dad says: "Piney is chill and easygoing. He enjoys moderate walks but is equally happy napping. Ideal Family: Perfect for first-time dog owners, Piney is low-maintenance and enjoys a mix of outdoor activities and indoor relaxation. He is crate-trained, housebroken, and loves the sofa. Social Skills: Friendly with dogs and cats, Piney stays calm even if other animals are agitated. He has good leash manners, though he might pull occasionally, and responds well to finger snaps. Playtime and Treats: Piney loves fetch and is a big fan of all treats, especially Indian food. Personality: If you get excited, Piney will lay down and show his belly for rubs—it's his signature move! Puts his head in weird places to get a smell of things (its funny at times) and he definitely would chase down a rat if you aren't cautious." INTERESTED IN ADOPTING?
