Pikachu

Pikachu is a 3 year old, 55 lb male, Retriever/Boxer mix. Pikachu is currently located in South Texas and will be transported. Hi! My name is Pikachu, and I love searching for tennis balls. Throw me the ball, see how fast I can run and get that ball! I never get tired of chasing a ball! I live with several dogs, and some cats, and I love playing with other dogs. We have so much fun just running, chasing each other and playing tug of war with our toys. Can't say I really like the cats, so I would rather have a home without cats. I do really like children though, even if they don't throw my ball. I've been told I am a handsome fella, but that hasn't gone to my head. I was named "Best Model" at our recent photo shoot, so I guess that means I can behave (I think the cheese cubes helped, haha). I can be a little aloof when I first meet new people, but it only takes me a minute to warm up and feel comfortable, then it's time for some petting! I am house trained and used to sleeping in my kennel, but I really do like cuddling with you on the couch too. I wear a Gentle Leader when I walk because I can pull a little, but with continued practice and training, I would be an awesome walking buddy! I really would like to embark on a new adventure with a family who will take me on nice long walks or go hiking, maybe a trip to the beach so I can do a little swimming, play ball (yes, yes, yes please!) and most of all, to cuddle with you and be loved forever. I really hope you will take me into your family! Our organization only adopts within the United States. Faith and Hope is a multi-state rescue with locations in Texas, Washington, Oregon, Maryland, Virginia, and Connecticut. All dogs and cats are rescued from the state of Texas to be transported to Washington, Oregon, Connecticut, Maryland and Virginia with placement in their adoptive family’s homes. Our $450 adoption fee includes all core vaccinations (DHPP, rabies, spay/neuter, microchip and transportation).
