My Story

Piggy was rescued from Highlands County animal services. She is five years old and weighs 21 pounds. Her breed is just an educated guess she has the markings of a mountain cur, but she is a smaller dog. Piggy is a special-needs dog. She has had a broken pelvis for at least three years. She gets around just fine. She might walk a little funny and she pees when she walks. She is very friendly and sweet. Meet and greet required if you have another dog. Respectful children should be fine. If living with a broken pelvis wasn’t enough, she tested positive for Heartworms. The shelter will cover her treatment. Call or text Alexandra 330-261-3934 if you’re interested in helping her. The adoption donation is $125 and includes spay, UTD vaccines, and microchip. Please keep in mind that we try to match your application and lifestyle with a dog the best suits your home. We are the dogs advocate and we put their needs first in hopes that we are finding them a forever home. For this reason we don’t operate on first come first serve. We do reserve the right to request photos of your home. You must be 21 years of age to adopt. We do reserve the right to deny any application.
