Meet Phoebe!! (case #07-25-OTC-05) Hello, world! I’m Phoebe, a lovable 6-8-year-old Boxer X Bully mix who’s ready to find my forever home. Though I’ve had a bit of a rough start with my low-hanging mammary glands and a few missing teeth, I’m feeling fabulous and ready to share my warm and playful spirit with you! I might be a bit of a character—sometimes I like to jump up and check out what’s on tables or explore every little nook and cranny around me. A harness will help me stay on track during our walks, as I’m a strong girl who likes to lead the way. I’m also a social butterfly, though I get easily distracted by all the exciting things around me. I’m a mix of outgoing and calm, and I’ll warm up to you quickly. I already know some neat tricks like “sit” and “shake a paw,” and I’m highly motivated by food and toys, so training should be a fun adventure for us! I’m housetrained, and with a bit of patience and guidance, I’ll be a fantastic addition to your home. While I did well meeting a rabbit and another female Bully X at the shelter, I prefer a home without cats. I’m more of a dog’s dog, and I’ll need a slow introduction to any new canine friends. With some firm boundaries and a focus on obedience training, I’m sure we’ll make a great team. Though I’m an older girl, I still have plenty of energy and love to give. I need daily exercise and mental stimulation to keep my tail wagging and my heart happy.
