Phelps has found his forever home with the Morse/Blin Family of Carlisle, MA!
Phelps is a gold medal dog who is a smart, resilient boy found with his sister, Dara. He is 8 months old and 60 lbs. He was shot over his eye with a BB gun, but has recovered and no sign of this injury. Phelps loves to play, be stroked, people especially when people talk to him. He is fine with cats, comfortable with a crate and does his business outside which indicates he will be very easy to housetrain. Because of his size, Phelps would do best in a home with children 7 and older. Won't you consider this prize of a dog? His adoption fee is $425.
Please complete an
online APPLICATION if you wish to adopt. Forever Home Rescue New England is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
We are a network of foster homes in the South and the New England area. THERE IS NO SPECIFIC SHELTER LOCATION. If you wish to meet our dogs, you must first be approved by going through our application and screening process.
Forever Home Rescue suggests obedience training for all puppies and dogs. All dogs are up to date on their shots, dewormed and spayed or neutered. Vet fees, transport fee and New England quarantine fees ARE INCLUDED in each dog's adoption fee. Also, any dogs older than pups--even if they are not marked housetrained in their posting---usually housetrain within a day or two, because most are used to living outside in the south and will prefer to "do their business" outdoors.
