Petrey is a tiny, cute as a button Dachshund boy that will steal your heart. Petrrey was surrendered to Canine Shelter Rescue with his back legs spread out to the side. He had never been able to stand-just crawl to get where he needed to go. Well, no more-Mr. Petrey was evaluated by our Vet and he has Petrey's legs splinted to help him stand until his muscles are trained to take over. Our Vet said Petrey will recover and make a wonderful puppy for someone. All we know is that he has stolen everyone's heart that has met him! Petrey is a happy boy with the best little personality. When Petrey has recovered he will be available for adoption to the right home.
Update 8/4/07: Petrey's legs are great...he is walking, running and playing ...what a gorgeous little pup. He is happy, loves to be held and cuddles and is sooooo sweet. He is now ready for his very own family!
