Reason for Foster: URI & Heartworm positive
Foster Time Frame: 1.5 Weeks
Foster Care Plan: Petey is being treated for an Upper Respiratory Infection which is similar to a cold. There is a possibility he is contagious to other animals, so we recommend keeping them separate in a bedroom or bathroom away from your personal pets until he recovers. They will go home with medication and surgery / return appointment for after medication is completed.
Due to being heartworm positive Petey will need to have a restrictive activities. Short walks and discourage running, jumping and high energy playing.
