My Story

Meet Peter! He’s a very playful (and a bit hyper!) puppy guessed between 6-8 months old. Peter loves to be with dogs his size, or bigger, as he’s a bit rambunctious. Peter is a super chewer and will rip anything apart when unsupervised or upset. He loves hard chew toys, so have a lot of super chewer dog toys on hand--he is a shredder! Peter is kennel trained and sleeps good through the night. He can have a bed in the kennel at night as he just passes out and won’t bother it. Recommend to keep several chew toys in the kennel overnight. Peter is doing very well with potty training and will start circling when he needs to go out. He is an excited peer when you get him out of the kennel first thing in the morning, so be prepared to clean up a little spot. He is very food motivated and is doing well with some training commands. He will need a slow feeder bowl in order for him to actually chew the kibble. He is a messy drinker and will chew anything that would catch water under the bowl. He is currently nervous about stairs and will only do 3 stairs at this time. We are working with him to conquer this fear. He does not enjoy car rides and will drool the entire time. Peter hasn't had experience with cats of kids. Older kids would probably be best, since he loves to chew things and little kids aren't known for keeping toys picked up ;-) (Possible brothers with Bobby, who's also available for adoption at adoptapal.org)
