Pete - Resident Angel - RIP

**Update** (8/31/11) We received the sad news during the night that Pete had gone to the Rainbow Bridge. Pete's foster mom was with him to comfort him as he passed. He had the best life with her, and Pete knew that he was loved and cherished. RIP....Pete... (10/22/10) This sweet boy has developed some medical issues and we now think it is best for Pete to live out his life with his foster mom who just adores him. Pete knows that he is loved and has a wonderful life with her. (8/20/10) This sweet boy is doing so well in his foster home. He just loves his foster mom who loves him right back! We are still hoping that someone very special comes looking for Pete to make him a part of their family. (5/22) Pete is such a smart boy. He usually understands exactly what his foster mom is telling him. Pete never goes anywhere without one of his favorite stuffed toys in his mouth! Please consider being Pete's hero and giving him his new home! Pete is eligible for our "Seniors for Seniors" Program. (4/20) Pete's foster mom reports that he walked right into her home and immediately became acted like he had always been there. He does great with all his canine friends. Pete is a wonderful dog who really wants a family to love him. (4/8/10) Poor Pete, his sister Lanie and his mom Pearl....along with 5 more seniors....all are homeless since the passing of their human mom. Pete is so sad to be in a shelter and will be going to a foster home this weekend. We are looking for a family who will welcome Pete into their home to live out his years in a loving and comfortable environment. We hope that this happens soon for this sweet senior boy!
