Meet Perla, a delightful 2-year-old Australian Cattle Dog (Blue Heeler) mix with a unique personality looking for her forever home. In her foster environment, Perla has shown typical Heeler traits by forming a strong bond with her foster mom. She's a playful spirit who enjoys interactive games but has a tendency to sneak snacks from other pets' food bowls. While still learning to communicate her need to go outside, Perla is adamant about keeping the house clean. Perla exhibits some nervousness around men and children at first and would love a family that can help her gain more confidence around new people. She shows curiosity towards the resident cats and has formed a friendship with another dog in the home, enjoying playtime and companionship with her. During her time in foster care, Perla has made progress in basic training, responding well to cues like sit, lay down, etc. Her favorite pastimes include romping around the yard, rolling in the grass, and going on leisurely walks around the neighborhood. Perla thrives on companionship and would blossom in a patient home environment where her unique quirks are understood and embraced.
