Penny is a Bluetick Beagle pup estimated at 6 mths of age. Penny came to the shelter after she was found at our shelter gate. Though in fairly good shape after obviously being on the run, she was covered with ticks from being in the woods. Penny is a beautiful girl with the blue ticking Blueticks are known for. She is also very smart and also very well-behaved. Though we know nothing of her hunting abilities, we do know that as a companion dog, she would be terrific! We can see her now, snuggling on the coach with her new Mom or Dad. To know a Beagle is to love a Beagle and Penny is no exception. She is the sweetest girl around.
