She was severely malnourished and timid when she entered rescue, but has managed to pack on a few pounds and started to come out of her shell with her new Texan foster family. Pennie is a submissive dog who will need a confident resident dog to show her the ropes so to say. She has learned a lot about being a "house dog" while at her foster home from their resident pups, and should blossom into a wonderful pup herself given enough time. Pennie is not 100% potty trained, but is working on it hard every day with her foster family. If she is kept on a consistent feeding/potty schedule once she gets to her new home here in Minnesota, she should be 100% potty trained in no time at all. Pennie would love a home with children to play and grow old with. She is a 5 star smuggler once she gets to know you.
