Penelope is a stunning 6-year-old female German Shepherd who is looking for her forever home. She was surrendered due to her owner not being able to care for her or the other German Shepherds on the property. Penelope is a furry, gorgeous girl who weighs around 75 pounds. She is an active and energetic dog, always busy exploring and playing. She loves to be around her humans, making her the perfect constant companion and people pleaser. Her affectionate and friendly nature will make you fall in love with her instantly. As a German Shepherd, Penelope is an intelligent breed, but she also has some quirky traits that make her stand out. We believe Penelope would do best in a home with someone who is knowledgeable about German Shepherds and their unique personalities. She may also benefit from someone who can help her overcome her anxiety and continue to build her confidence. Penelope previously lived around other dogs but as always Meet and Greets with all dog friends she will be sharing her home with is required! PATIENCE,TIME,STRUCTURE,ROUTINES are going to be key. We do not know if these precious dogs were ever allowed to live as indoor dogs so they will need understanding as they decompress and learn all the joys of being in loving households!!!! Penelope has been spayed,vaccinated, given dewormer, microchipped and started on flea/tick prevention, heartworm tested (NEGATIVE) and given heartworm prevention.
