Penelope

Penelope is an adorable female Yorkie mix with a delightful personality. Her foster describes her as the sweetest dog they've ever known, full of love and affection. Penelope adores attention, belly rubs, and cuddles, and she has a surprising zest for life despite her small size. She loves running with the "big dogs" and has gotten along well with all the dogs she's met. Although she can be a bit shy at first, Penelope quickly warms up and considers everyone she meets a friend. Currently, Penelope is working on loose-leash walking and crate training, and she's learning quickly. As a puppy, she's still mastering potty training but is making great progress, in using a potty training pad or going outside. This little dynamo loves to run and has a knack for fetch, eagerly bringing the ball back for more play. Penelope also enjoys car rides, often using the opportunity to take a nap. Her only quirk is being a bit of a "grazer" when it comes to eating, showing a selective approach to mealtime. Overall, Penelope is a loving, playful, and quick-learning puppy ready to bring joy to her forever home. Our dogs and puppies go home spayed/neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested (7 months and over), and up to date on core vaccines, heartworm, flea, and tick preventatives. Their adoption also includes a free-vet exam at one of our participating veterinarians.
