Pearl is the wonderful mommy of the litter of yellow labs. She will be available for adoption as soon as she is altered after weaning her pups and drying up a bit, which will probably be at the end of October. We are taking applications for this wonderful girl, so that she can start her new life as soon as possible. An ideal home for her would be a retired person(s) who could give her their undivided attention. She deserves it!
Isn't she pretty?Pearl was an owner surrender. After breeding her for 7 years, they didn't want her anymore and were going to "take a baseball bat to her" if the shelter wouldn't take her. She is now 8 years old and just the nicest, happiest girl in the world!
Pearl gets along with everyone! She's good with other dogs and cats and children.
Pearl is crate trained, also doesn't like it very much and house trained. She does find anything with food, so you need to keep a clean house or she'll clean up for you! She is just a great dog, who follows you around wherever you go. She bonds quickly.
Pearl deserves to live her remaining years being appreciated for the special girl she is, not just a breeding machine.
This dog's adoption fee is $165 (plus tax). This includes being spayed, current on Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella vaccinations, microchipped with the HomeAgain microchip, heartworm tested (negative) and medicated during the heartworm season (May-Dec) while in our care, and is currently learning Basic Obedience commands and good doggie manners.
The first step in our adoption process is to fill out an application. If you'd like to have an application emailed to you, just let us know. If you have questions about the dog, please call C.A.R.E.S. after 6:00 p.m. or email us. Sorry, but C.A.R.E.S. will NOT return long distance phone calls--our money is better spent on dog food............Thank you!
