Pearl

Neva Pearl was originally found on the side of the road in a rural area of Tennessee. She spent a few weeks in a shelter in hopes that her owner would come forward but no such luck. She is DEAF and knows sign language. So far I have taught her 11 different signs.

She is the smartest dog I have ever had! She is very attentive to her surroundings. Her deafness is not hindering her by any means. She absolutely LOVES people! A very affectionate dog.

She's good with other dogs but now that she is older I'm not sure about cats. When she was 3-4 months old she was around several cats for about week and did good. This was the first foster home where she stayed briefly. I have an 8 year old Shepard/pit mix and a 3 year old female boxer mix that she gets along good with.

If she is a Dogo, she with out a doubt has the hunting gene. She has brought several presents to the back door. She's a great dog that I have become VERY attached to. She would be perfect for an active family. She can tend to be a little hyper but she is working hard on learning to calm herself.

She is housetrained, crate trained and walks good on a leash. She is now 1 1/2 years old, spayed and up to date on her shots.
